Limerick’s inaugural\u00a0Make a Move<\/a>\u00a0festival of hip-hop culture was the first stop in our summer tour for a panel on\u00a0Irish Hip-Hop: Got to Get Up to Get Down<\/strong>. We were joined at the Daghdha Church by\u00a0Paul Tarpey<\/a>\u00a0(Cheebah),\u00a0Kieran Nolan<\/a>\u00a0(founder of irishhiphop.com),\u00a0mynameisjOhn<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Temper-Mental MissElayneous<\/a>\u00a0to run the rule over the past, present and future of life on the Irish hip-hop beat. From\u00a0RTE\u2019s Ireland\u2019s Rappers documentary<\/a>\u00a0to Scary Eire and beyond, it was a hugely engaging hour in the life of the culture.
